| Elizabeth is a founding member of Canine Motivated Therapies. This organization helps people overcome physical and emotional trauma through dog-assisted, goal oriented therapy. Elizabeth's own dogs are therapy volunteers and she also teaches classes designed to help dogs become canine therapists. She believes deeply in the healing powers of the dog and human relationship and is an active program leader and volunteer. She was also a volunteer for 15 years with Chicago based Chenny Troupe, another animal-assisted therapy organization
Elizabeth owns two Labrador Retrievers and two Great Danes. Two of her dogs are rescues and she continues to support various dog rescue organizations. Markay Dog Training offers a 10% discount on all services to owners of shelter or rescue dogs.
We are reasonably priced and offer various programs to fit each individual family's needs. Private-In Home and Group Training are available, as well as Board and Train.
